Quick start
Pick your agent. Every route installs the same 124 skills; the core ones run on the CMO.so MCP server.
| Agent | Install |
|---|---|
| Claude Code | /plugin marketplace add AI-Marketing-OS-LTD/cmo-so-skills then /plugin install cmo-so-all@cmo-so |
| Codex | codex plugin marketplace add AI-Marketing-OS-LTD/cmo-so-skills then codex plugin add cmo-so@cmo-so (and any category, e.g. cmo-so-seo@cmo-so) |
| Pi | pi install npm:@cmo-so/skills (or pi install git:github.com/AI-Marketing-OS-LTD/cmo-so-skills) |
| Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Amp, Cline, Goose, Kiro, Qwen Code, Trae, Roo, Kilo, Augment, Droid, OpenHands, Antigravity | npx @cmo-so/skills install -a cursor (any agent id; comma-separated for several) |
| Any agent, any scope | npx @cmo-so/skills install (this project) or npx @cmo-so/skills install -g (your user) |
@cmo-so/skills installs into the folder each agent reads, for one project or for your user:
npx @cmo-so/skills install # this project, for the agents set up here (.claude/skills, .agents/skills, …)
npx @cmo-so/skills install -g -a codex,pi # every project: ~/.agents/skills (Codex, Pi)
npx @cmo-so/skills install -a claude --category seo, social --mcp # some categories, plus the MCP server in .mcp.json
npx @cmo-so/skills agents # every supported agent and its folders
npx @cmo-so/skills@latest update -g # update later; your edits are kept
See packages/skills for update, remove and the other options. The skills also work with the open skills CLI: npx skills add AI-Marketing-OS-LTD/cmo-so-skills -a <agent>.
Connect the MCP server (the core skills need it; sign in with your CMO.so account, no keys):
| Agent | Connect |
|---|---|
| Claude Code | The plugin brings it: /mcp → cmo-so → Authenticate. Otherwise claude mcp add --transport http cmo-so https://mcp.cmo.so/mcp |
| Codex | The cmo-so plugin brings it: codex mcp login cmo-so. Otherwise codex mcp add cmo-so --url https://mcp.cmo.so/mcp |
| Gemini CLI | gemini mcp add --transport http cmo-so https://mcp.cmo.so/mcp |
| Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf | Add a remote MCP server with the URL https://mcp.cmo.so/mcp |
| Pi and agents that start a command | npx -y @cmo-so/mcp (stdio), after npx @cmo-so/cli login |
Or just ask your agent: "Connect to CMO.so".
Try asking:
- "What needs me today on my website?"
- "How did my site do this week?"
- "Which pages get impressions but no clicks?"
- "Do AI answers mention my site?"
- "Write three LinkedIn posts from my latest article and queue them."

| Claude.ai, Claude Desktop | Upload a skill folder as a zip (standalone install) | — | Settings → Connectors → https://mcp.cmo.so/mcp |
| ChatGPT | — (the tools work through the MCP server) | — | Custom MCP server https://mcp.cmo.so/mcp |
| Any other agent | Standalone install into the folder it reads | — | Remote URL or npx -y @cmo-so/mcp |
Add -g to an npx @cmo-so/skills install command to install for your user (every project) instead of the current project. "Remote URL" means adding https://mcp.cmo.so/mcp as a remote (streamable HTTP) MCP server in that agent's settings; it signs in with OAuth. Tested end to end on Claude Code, Codex and Pi; the other folders follow each agent's documented skills location.
Standalone install
Each skill is one self-contained folder with a SKILL.md (the open Agent Skills format), so you can install without any of the tools above.
All skills, without Node (macOS, Linux, WSL; change the target to the folder your agent reads):
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/AI-Marketing-OS-LTD/cmo-so-skills.git
mkdir -p ~/.agents/skills
cp -R cmo-so-skills/plugins/*/skills/* ~/.agents/skills/
One skill (no clone):
mkdir -p ~/.agents/skills
curl -sL https://github.com/AI-Marketing-OS-LTD/cmo-so-skills/archive/refs/heads/main.tar.gz \
| tar -xz --strip-components=4 -C ~/.agents/skills cmo-so-skills-main/plugins/cmo-so-seo/skills/cmo-seo-audit
The path is plugins/<plugin>/skills/<skill>; skills.json lists every skill with its plugin (skill_file).
With Node, any agent: npx @cmo-so/skills install [-g] -a <agent> copies the skills, keeps a record, and later updates them without overwriting your edits. The open skills CLI works too: npx skills add AI-Marketing-OS-LTD/cmo-so-skills -a <agent>.
Windows: download the ZIP and copy the folders from plugins\<plugin>\skills\ to your agent's skills folder (for example %USERPROFILE%\.agents\skills), or use npx @cmo-so/skills in PowerShell.
Claude.ai and Claude Desktop: zip one skill folder (for example cmo-seo-audit/) and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills.
Agents without a skills folder: paste a SKILL.md into the agent's custom instructions or rules, or point the agent at the file: "Follow plugins/cmo-so-seo/skills/cmo-seo-audit/SKILL.md".
To update, repeat the copy (it replaces the files) or switch to npx @cmo-so/skills, which keeps your edits. For the core skills, also connect the MCP server.
How it works
Every skill is a SKILL.md your agent loads when the task matches. Skills come in three tiers:
| Tier | What it means |
|---|---|
| core | Runs on the CMO.so MCP server: Maggie's blog autopilot, LinkedIn queue, Search Console, AI visibility and business profile. Needs a CMO.so account. |
| connected | Uses CMO.so data and actions when the server is connected, for example your business profile or queueing a blog idea. Works without it too. |
| standalone | A marketing method that works with any agent, such as ad audits, pricing or PR. CMO.so is optional. |
Each category is its own plugin, and every plugin installs cmo-so (the core skills and the MCP connection) with it. Install everything with cmo-so-all, or only what you need, for example /plugin install cmo-so-seo@cmo-so.
Skills
156 skills in 14 plugins, plus the cmo-so-all bundle. Generated from the catalog: please open an issue rather than editing a SKILL.md.
CMO.so core (MCP) · cmo-so
| Skill | What it does |
|---|---|
cmo-connect |
Connect an AI agent to CMO.so through the MCP server (OAuth, or CLI/API key without a browser) and pick the website to work on. |
cmo-daily |
What needs the user today (LinkedIn drafts, failures, setup steps, quota) and clearing it one approved action at a time. |
cmo-weekly-report |
Weekly report from CMO.so data: posts, Search Console, AI visibility, best and worst content, and two or three next steps. |
cmo-blog-planner |
Plan the blog in CMO.so: ideas from links, sentences, AI generation or the sitemap, and the ordered writing plan Maggie follows. |
cmo-linkedin |
Run the LinkedIn queue in CMO.so: review and approve drafts, turn articles into posts, plan days, campaigns, pause and resume. |
cmo-memory |
Keep the user's lasting taste in Maggie Memory (prefer, always, never per channel) so every future post, draft and picture follows it, and show or forget what is remembered. |
cmo-ops-autopilot |
What Maggie does on her own every day and week (fills social slots, checks posts before they go out, retries failures, ideas from Search Console and competitors, post checks, Google reviews, the Monday report), how to switch each part, and how to read and save reports. |
cmo-seo-opportunities |
Quick SEO wins from Search Console and content performance: low-CTR queries, positions 4-15, no-traffic articles, then Maggie rewrites. |
cmo-ai-visibility |
Monitor how the website shows up in AI answers: score, watched prompts, cited pages, live checks and keywords to watch. |
cmo-brand-profile |
Complete the business profile every other skill reads: offer, products, audiences, competitors, CTAs, testimonials and brand voice. |
cmo-website-setup |
Get a website ready in CMO.so: verify ownership by email, DNS, the WordPress plugin or by asking the team, detect the platform, and hand off the publishing connection to a computer. |
cmo-autopilot |
Tune how Maggie publishes: posts per day, pause and resume, rewrite policy for old posts, and the content guard that blocks off-brand text. |
cmo-draft-review |
Review Maggie's blog drafts before they go out: read, edit, ask for a rewrite, delete, or publish one now. |
cmo-team-access |
Manage who can do what on a website and the account itself: team permissions, connected apps, API keys and notifications. |
cmo-facebook |
Run the Facebook Page queue in CMO.so: connect a Page, write posts for it (alone or next to LinkedIn), review and approve, pause, and set how often it posts. |
cmo-instagram |
Run the Instagram queue in CMO.so: connect an Instagram professional account through its Facebook Page, write posts for it (alone or next to LinkedIn and Facebook), make sure each has its picture or set of 4, review and approve, pause and pace. |
cmo-google-business |
Run the Google Business Profile queue in CMO.so: connect the business's profile, write short local updates for Google Search and Maps (alone or next to the other channels), pick each post's button, follow Google's review, and keep the pace within Google's limits. |
cmo-youtube |
Run the YouTube queue in CMO.so: connect the channel, add a short video (5-30 seconds) from the app or a file link, check its title, description, tags, visibility and made-for-kids answer, get the user's approval, and follow it through YouTube's processing until it's live as a Short. |
cmo-tiktok |
Run the TikTok queue in CMO.so (beta): connect the account, add a short video (5-30 seconds) from the app or a file link, let the user choose TikTok's settings for it (who can view it, comments, Duet, Stitch, content disclosure, AI label) exactly as TikTok's rules ask, get their approval, and follow it through TikTok's processing. |
cmo-routines |
Turn any CMO.so skill into a scheduled agent run (Claude Routines or Codex Automations) that works with nobody watching — what to schedule, which connectors and keys, what it may confirm by itself, daily limits, and where its report goes. |
cmo-social-distribution |
A daily check of every social post about to go out on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Google Business (read in full, fixed or held back before it's public), with the week's empty slots filled only when Maggie's own top-up couldn't. |

Website (WordPress) · cmo-so-website
| Skill | What it does |
|---|---|
cmo-wp-builder |
Build and look after a WordPress site on the Maggie Core theme through CMO.so alone: add, design, change or remove pages and sections, fix SEO, change the menu, header, footer and brand. |
cmo-wp-child-theme |
Keep a site's own look — brand colours, fonts, header, footer, patterns, small CSS — in a child theme of Maggie Core, so the parent theme can update safely and the site's design lives in files, not only in the database. |
cmo-wp-clone |
Take the look of the owner's existing homepage (or a reference site they're allowed to use) and rebuild it on Maggie Core — design tokens, section map, header and footer — as a Design Pack the rest of the site follows. |
cmo-wp-faq |
Write 10+ questions and answers tailored to each WordPress page from the page's own facts — no invented prices, numbers or claims, no repeats across sibling pages — and put them in the page's FAQ section. |
cmo-wp-images |
Choose, size and describe the pictures on WordPress pages — the right shape per section, fast WebP files, honest alt text, no duplicates — and state the cost before generating any new image. |
cmo-wp-migrate |
Move an existing WordPress site (Elementor or another theme) onto Maggie Core page by page without losing SEO — inventory and baseline, page types, one approved page per type, batch conversion, gates, cut-over and rollback. |
cmo-wp-motion |
Use Maggie Core's motion vocabulary — rise and stagger on entry, lift, zoom and float on hover, underline on links — through section classes only, calm and accessible, never custom scripts. |
cmo-wp-page-design |
Design a new WordPress page or rework an existing one as Maggie Core sections, review it on phone and computer, and fix generic, cluttered or weak layouts in place. |
cmo-wp-qa |
The checks after any WordPress change and before a release or cut-over — pages open, one H1, valid blocks, SEO unchanged against a baseline, links, layout at 390/768/1440 px, contrast, forms — with a clear pass/fail report. |
cmo-wp-sections |
The rules for Maggie Core sections — which type to use for which job, what each needs, how many per page and in what order — so pages built by AI look designed, not assembled. |
cmo-wp-seo |
Audit and fix a WordPress site's on-page SEO through CMO.so — titles, descriptions, keywords, H1s, robots, canonicals, structured data, redirects and business details — page by page or in batches. |
cmo-wp-vibe-coding |
Run a WordPress site on Maggie Core from Claude Code, Cursor or ChatGPT through the CMO.so MCP — read it, change any page, post, setting, plugin, menu or style with block markup or sections, preview, publish and undo — without wp-admin, FTP or SSH. |
cmo-wp-seo-technical |
Crawl a connected WordPress site like a search engine through the CMO.so MCP — robots.txt, AI crawlers, sitemap, status codes, canonicals, noindex, H1s, alt text, structured data, broken links, Core Web Vitals — then lay out internal links between pages, articles, menu and footer, and publish an llms.txt for AI assistants. |
cmo-wp-security |
Check a connected WordPress site's security through the CMO.so MCP — vulnerable, outdated or abandoned plugins and themes, WordPress and PHP versions, risky settings, Administrators and old application passwords, WP-Cron jobs, and what visitors can see from outside — then fix what the tools can, with a yes for each. |
cmo-wp-booking |
Run online booking on a Maggie Core WordPress site through the CMO.so MCP — switch it on, bring the menu, clients, appointments and gift cards over from Fresha or another system, set up treatments, team, hours, deals and gift cards, and handle the day's appointments (book, move, cancel, refund), run the till and the whole booking dashboard, and design the visitor booking pages — one approved change at a time. |
cmo-wp-shop |
Run an online shop on a Maggie Core WordPress site through the CMO.so MCP — switch it on, bring products over from WooCommerce, add products with options and variants, keep stock right, fulfil, refund and follow up orders, set delivery prices, tax, payment methods and coupons, and build pages that sell — one approved change at a time. |
The CMO.so MCP server
Every skill above runs on one MCP server: https://mcp.cmo.so/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1).
- 125 tools cover your websites, results (Search Console, AI visibility, content performance, SEO audit), blog ideas, plan and drafts, the LinkedIn queue and campaigns, business profile and brand voice, autopilot settings and team access.
- Sign in with your CMO.so account. There are no keys to paste. The agent gets exactly your team permissions on each website, and a read-only key only sees read tools.
- Two-step changes. A tool that changes something first returns a preview and a
confirmation. It runs only when called again withconfirm: true, and it runs exactly the call that was previewed. - Cards in ChatGPT. Results, blog posts and the LinkedIn queue (with Approve) render as cards.
| Client | How to connect |
|---|---|
| Claude Code | This plugin (/mcp → cmo-so → Authenticate), or claude mcp add --transport http cmo-so https://mcp.cmo.so/mcp |

| ChatGPT | Plugins → Add → Add custom MCP server → https://mcp.cmo.so/mcp, OAuth (developer mode, until the listing is live) |
| Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf | Add a remote HTTP server with the same URL, or run it locally (below) |

Other agents
The skills are plain SKILL.md folders under plugins/, in the open Agent Skills format, so any agent that reads skills can use them with the MCP server above:
plugins/*/skills/for Claude Code plugins (.claude-plugin/), Codex and Agent Plugins hosts (plugin.json,mcp.json, marketplace in.agents/plugins/marketplace.json) and Pi packages (package.json→pi.skills).npx @cmo-so/skills agentslists the 20 agents the installer knows and the folders it writes. Agents that share.agents/skills(Codex, Pi, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Copilot, Amp, Cline) get one copy.- The full index, with categories, channels, funnel stage, tier and the MCP tools each skill uses, is in
skills.json. Setup guides: https://ai.cmo.so/hot/mcp
Safety
- Changes take two steps: a preview (what will happen and what it costs) and a confirmation you give. The confirmation is bound to that exact action and expires after 10 minutes.
- Your agent only gets the access your CMO.so account has on each website; a read-only team member cannot change anything.
- Text from web pages, search queries and AI answers is treated as data, never as instructions.
- Skills never ask for passwords or API keys in the chat. You can disconnect any agent in your CMO.so account settings under Connected apps.
