mxik

Unofficial typed JavaScript client for tasnif.soliq.uz, the national catalogue of goods and services of Uzbekistan. Find MXIK (IKPU) codes by keyword, barcode, brand or certificate number.

Not affiliated with the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan or tasnif.soliq.uz.

Zero dependencies, about 4 kB gzipped
ESM and CommonJS, runs in Node 20+, Bun, Deno, browsers and edge runtimes
Returns plain data instead of raw API envelopes, with pagination, language selection, timeouts and AbortSignal
Optional cache, in memory or your own implementation (Redis, KV)

All options are optional, the values above are the defaults.

Cache

Off by default. The catalog changes rarely, so caching saves a lot of requests.

Successful results and "not found" are cached, errors are not. See Cache for a Redis example.

Good to know

It uses the public API behind tasnif.soliq.uz, which isn't documented and may change.
The API may not respond to servers outside Uzbekistan. Check connectivity before deploying, or use a proxy via baseURL.

Migrating from 1.1

MxikClient, createMxikClient() and fetchBy* still work but are deprecated and will be removed in 2.0. See the migration guide.
