TODO for AI Edge

The Web connector for TODO for AI — connects your machine to the TODO for AI server and gives TODOs shell, file, and browser access to get things done locally. Handles file operations, shell execution, DOCX/XLSX editing, git-aware file-change tracking, and more.

Quickstart

Already have Node? npm install -g @todoforai/edge works too. On Windows: irm https://todofor.ai/edge.ps1 | iex.

First run opens your browser for device-flow login and saves the key to the platform credentials store (~/.config/todoforai/credentials.json on Linux, ~/Library/Application Support/todoforai/credentials.json on macOS, %APPDATA%\todoforai\credentials.json on Windows; legacy ~/.todoforai/credentials.json still read). Shared with the bridge and CLI. No flags needed.

Other ways to authenticate

  • Tool catalog — on-demand install of CLIs like gh, rg, cloudflared, supabase, stripe, flyctl, …
  • Browser bridge — drive browsers via the todoforai-browser extension (Chrome · Firefox)
